PB Focus — Organizer Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect About Your Organization

Contact info: your name, email, phone number, and business name and address.

Account info: your login details and the roles or permissions you set up for your team members.

Payment connection info: the fact that your Stripe account is connected to PB Focus. We don't see or store your bank account or card details — Stripe handles that directly.

Usage info: how you use PB Focus, so we can provide support and improve the platform.

2. How We Use Your Organization's Information

To run your account and provide the service.

To calculate and invoice the Platform Fee, including for comped registrations.

To communicate with you about your account, updates, or support.

To improve and troubleshoot PB Focus.

3. Player Information: Ownership & Your License to Use It

PB Focus collects and owns the player profiles created when players register for events on the platform. When you use PB Focus, we grant your organization a limited, non-exclusive license to use the player information collected through your own events — not a transfer of ownership, and not access to any other Organization's players. This section explains what that license does and doesn't let you do.

Your access is limited to your own events. You can only see and use information for players who registered through your organization. PB Focus, as the owner of this data, has access across all Organizations' player accounts; you don't.

Use it only for your event. Player information is for running the event they signed up for — things like event updates, brackets, results, and other transactional communications tied to that specific tournament or league.

No solicitation or marketing. You may not use these contacts to build your own marketing list, promote unrelated events, or reach out for anything beyond transactional communications about the tournament or league the player registered for. PB Focus, as the data owner, may market to players directly — Organizations may not.

Don't sell it or share it with other businesses, sponsors, or third parties without the player's clear permission.

Keep it secure. Only your team members who need access should have it.

Respect player requests. If a player asks you (or asks us) to correct or delete their information, or to stop receiving messages, you agree to help make that happen.

Extra care for minors. Players 14 and younger can only be on PB Focus through a parent or legal guardian's account, and that parent or guardian gave consent when adding them. Players 15, 16, and 17 manage their own accounts and agree to the PB Focus terms themselves; if your event requires its own consent form for minors, collecting it is your responsibility. Don't collect more information from a minor than your event actually needs.

4. Who We Share Organization Information With

Stripe, to process payments and the Platform Fee.

Service providers who help us run PB Focus, like hosting, email, and customer support tools.

Legal authorities, only if we're required to by law.

We don't sell your organization's information.

5. Cookies & Similar Technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar tools to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking them may affect how well the site works.

6. How We Protect Information

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information we hold. No system is completely secure, but we take this seriously. If a breach happens that puts your information at risk, we'll let you know in line with applicable law.

7. How Long We Keep Information

We keep your organization's information as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable time afterward to meet legal, tax, or accounting requirements.

8. If Our Business Changes Hands

If PB Focus is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your organization's information may be transferred as part of that deal. We'll make sure it continues to be protected in line with this policy.

9. Your Choices

You can update your account information any time. You can also contact us to request deletion of your organization account, though we may need to keep certain records (like Platform Fee and invoice history) for legal or accounting purposes.

10. Your State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you're located, you may have rights under state privacy laws (like California's) to know what information we've collected about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We don't sell your information. To make a request, email us at legal@pickleballventures.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know. Continuing to use PB Focus after an update means you accept the changes.
